PepX — Privacy Policy

PepX ("the app", "we", "us") is a personal peptide and health tracking app. We designed PepX to keep your data private. This policy explains what data the app handles and how.

Data stored on your device

All of the health and tracking data you enter — protocols, doses, peptides, inventory, body metrics, photos, notes, bloodwork, and journal entries — is stored locally on your device in an on-device database. We do not upload, sell, or have access to this data. It never leaves your device except where you explicitly choose to share it (e.g. exporting a report or syncing with Apple Health).

Apple Health (HealthKit)

If you enable it, PepX can read from and write to Apple Health (for example body weight and metrics). This data is exchanged directly between the app and Apple Health on your device and is governed by Apple's privacy protections. We never transmit your Health data to our servers.

Subscriptions

Premium subscriptions are processed by Apple and managed through RevenueCat, which handles purchase validation. RevenueCat may process a non-identifying app user ID and your purchase history to manage your entitlement. We do not receive your name, email, or payment details — those stay with Apple.

Anonymous analytics

To understand which features are used and improve the app, PepX collects anonymous, aggregated usage analytics via PostHog. This is configured to be non-identifying:

• No name, email, peptide names, dosages, weights, or other personal/health content is ever sent — event properties pass through a strict allowlist.
• No persistent device identifier is stored; the session identifier is regenerated on each app launch.
• Geolocation from IP is disabled, and we do not track you across other apps or websites.

What we never collect

• We do not require an account, email, or login.
• We do not sell or share your data with advertisers.
• We do not use your data for cross-app or cross-site tracking.

Your control & deletion

You can permanently delete all of your data at any time from Settings → Privacy → Clear All Data, which removes the on-device database, photos, scheduled notifications, and any HealthKit samples written by PepX. Uninstalling the app also removes all locally stored data.

Children

PepX is not directed to children and is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
